Privacy
Your vote is yours.
A privacy-preserving hash of the network address supplied by the hosting platform enforces one vote per post and counts daily voting streaks. The raw address is not written to the ROH database. The hash uses a site secret and is not shown publicly. Votes are stored with the selected post and option; when a person is signed in, the account ID may also be associated with the vote.
Accounts and submissions
Signing in with ChatGPT is required to create a profile, submit a post, or comment. The account identity provided by the sign-in service is used to identify your ROH profile. New posts and comments stay private to moderators until a person approves them. There is no automated publishing of user content. One-line reasons are submitted as comments and follow the same human review.
Contact submissions
If you send a message through the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message are stored in the ROH database for the site owner to review and respond. Do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. Contact messages are retained until the owner closes or removes them.
Analytics and retention
Daily analytics store a unique pseudonymous visitor hash per event type and calendar day. Daily streaks use the same kind of pseudonymous hash and store only the day of a vote. Rate-limit keys and event records are kept in the ROH database. This launch does not offer a self-service data export or deletion flow. Use the contact form to request help with your account or data.
Sponsored posts
Any paid or sponsored placement must be clearly labeled. Sponsorship does not change vote counts or the order of community results.
