Content that is prohibited

• Pornography and sexually explicit imagery or activity in posts, comments, profiles, or private messages. An NSFW label or private-chat setting does not make it acceptable.
• Nudity or sexualized content involving a minor, including synthetic or AI-generated depictions.
• Intimate images shared without the depicted person’s consent, including manipulated or AI-generated sexual images of a real person.
• Graphic violence, encouragement of self-harm or suicide, dangerous challenges, or content that promotes eating disorders or harmful drug use.
• Targeted hateful attacks, threats, harassment, doxxing, or calls for violence.

What may qualify for NSFW

Once enabled, the age-restricted area may contain clearly labeled, non-pornographic mature themes or imagery, such as strong language, adult subject matter, or tasteful, non-sexual nudity of adults in an artistic or educational context. Each post must show an NSFW label and a specific warning before a member opens it; previews must be obscured. NSFW will be off by default and excluded from public feeds and search. Access requires third-party age assurance and a deliberate opt-in. This content must not be presented in a pornographic or sexually explicit way. Pornography, sexually explicit content, any nudity involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, and content otherwise prohibited here will not be allowed in the NSFW area.

Contextual discussion

News, politics, health, and safety topics are allowed when presented without prohibited sexual content, graphic violence, harassment, or instructions encouraging harm. Political debate is allowed. Criticism of ideas, institutions, public policies, and public conduct is permitted; attacks on people based on protected traits are not.

Age and child safety

A member must confirm they are at least 18 to create an account. Public pages remain suitable for general audiences. The separate NSFW area will require third-party age assurance before access; a self-declared age alone will not unlock it. ROH will keep the NSFW area disabled until its age-assurance process is configured.

Report content

Use the post’s Report this post control or the message’s Report control. One report hides a post, comment, or message while a human reviews it. Reports are triaged by safety priority and age, with a 36-hour internal resolution target. A quarantine is a temporary safety measure, not a finding that the content violated a rule. A moderator or admin decides whether to remove the content or approve its release. A report alone does not automatically delete content permanently or penalize an account.
