These are ROH’s public copyright notice contact details. ROH’s Copyright Office designated-agent registration still must be completed and kept current; this page does not claim that registration is active. Form submissions are saved to a restricted owner queue. The form is available without an ROH account.

Submit a copyright notice

Include each item that applies. ROH targets review and resolution of every content report within 36 hours. Reported posts and comments are hidden immediately while a human moderator reviews them. Valid copyright notices receive expeditious action; 36 hours is ROH’s internal target, not a statutory DMCA clock. Submitting a notice does not guarantee removal; knowingly false claims can have legal consequences.

Your notice and contact details will be stored in ROH’s owner review queue so the site can respond. ROH may share the notice with the person who posted the reported material as part of the applicable process.

Counter-notices

If ROH removes your material after a copyright notice and you believe it was removed because of mistake or misidentification, submit a counter-notice using the form below. A complete counter-notice will be forwarded to the original claimant and handled under the applicable statutory timeline.

A counter-notice shares your identifying information with the original claimant. Submit only if you understand the legal statements below.

How ROH handles reports

  1. ROH records the notice and checks that it identifies the copyrighted work, the specific ROH material, and a way to contact the sender. A moderator prioritizes open reports by safety urgency and age, with a 36-hour internal resolution target.
  2. ROH reviews the notice. When a notice meets the applicable requirements, ROH acts expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material and contacts the person who submitted it. Valid nonconsensual intimate-image requests and known identical copies must be removed within 48 hours where the Take It Down Act applies.
  3. The affected member may submit a counter-notice. If ROH receives a complete counter-notice, it will forward it to the original sender and follow the statutory waiting period and restoration procedure, unless it receives notice of a court action within that period.
  4. One report hides a post or comment and places it in the human-review queue. A moderator or admin must review it before release. Reported direct messages are hidden while they are reviewed. ROH targets a decision within 36 hours; content that violates policy is removed.
  5. ROH keeps a record of the report, decision, and action taken. Safety and intimate-image reports receive priority handling.
  6. ROH may restrict or terminate accounts of repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.

This page describes ROH’s reporting process; it is not a legal opinion or a determination that any particular use is infringing. See the Terms, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.
